JX221 Self-Adhesive Polymer Modified Asphalt Chemical Root-Resistant Membrane is based on polyester felt as the base carrier. The coating material is modified asphalt blended with self-adhesive polymer and an imported chemical root inhibitor. The top surface is covered with PE film, fine sand, or mineral granules, while the bottom surface is covered with a PE release film.

Scope of Application

Suitable for basement planting roof slabs, green roofs and other areas with planting requirements.

Substrate Preparation → Primary Waterproofing Layer Construction → Waterproof Layer Inspection → Marking & Positioning → Root-resistant Membrane Installation → Lap Joint Treatment → Self-inspection & Acceptance → Handover of Working Surface

Notes

• This membrane is a non-exposed waterproof material. Conduct concealed work inspection promptly after waterproofing.

• Do not construct in rainy or snowy weather, or when wind force is ≥ Grade 5. Ambient temperature must not be lower than 5℃ during construction.

Transportation & Storage

Products of different types and specifications shall be stacked separately during transport and storage. Keep away from sunlight and rain, ensure good ventilation. Storage temperature ≤45℃. For horizontal stacking, max. 5 layers; store vertically in single layer. Prevent tilting or side pressure during transportation, cover with tarpaulin if needed. Handle gently, no rough loading/unloading.
