100 Polymer Non‑Bituminous Self‑adhesive Underlayment Membrane takes synthetic polymer sheet (HDPE) as base film, with single‑sided high polymer self‑adhesive layer and anti‑sticking layer, designed for pre‑lied anti‑bonding construction. Construction Method

1.Horizontal Membrane Laying

‑When laying the first membrane, loosely lay it on base according to marked lines, with smooth polymer sheet side towards base and weather‑resistant granular layer towards constructors, then carefully correct membrane position. The overlap width of the second adjacent membrane along long edge with the first one is 70mm. Tear off release film at overlap area before operation to keep the lower part of overlap zone clean, dry and dust‑free. Lap two membranes together, proceed construction continuously and roll overlap edge firmly to ensure good bonding. ‑Repeat above steps until all horizontal membranes are laid. ‑The short‑edge overlap width of membrane is 80mm. Use special membrane adhesive or tape to compact and bond the overlap seam. Short‑edge overlap seams of two adjacent membranes shall be staggered by at least 600mm to avoid concentrated overlap seams.

2.Vertical Membrane Laying

‑When laying membrane on vertical surface, align membrane on base of enclosure wall according to marked lines, with smooth polymer sheet side towards enclosure and weather‑resistant granular layer towards structural concrete. Fix membrane on supporting surface of enclosure wall by mechanical fixing method. Steel nails shall be fixed at 50mm away from outer edge of reserved self‑adhesive side of membrane. According to site conditions, mechanical fixing shall be carried out every about 500mm along long edge of membrane. During construction, tear off release film on reserved self‑adhesive overlap edge of long side, and ensure all nail fixing points are covered by overlap edge of adjacent membrane. Roll with pressing roller at once after lapping to ensure tight sealing and bonding. ‑According to site conditions, mechanically fix the membrane every about 500mm along short edge, with nail fixing position 5mm away from outer edge of membrane. After nailing, bond and seal short‑edge overlap part with special membrane adhesive or tape, to ensure all nail fixing points are covered by overlap edge of next membrane.

Repair of Waterproof Layer

Carefully inspect waterproof layer before steel reinforcement binding, formwork erection and concrete pouring. Repair damage in time when the leaking risk point be found. When repairing damaged points, cut membrane which size have to be bigger than than 150mm×150mm to cover damaged area, repair and seal with special membrane adhesive or tape to integrate with original waterproof layer. Pour structural concrete as soon as possible after membrane laying. Before concrete pouring, take measures to keep accepted membrane surface clean and free of sundries, so as to achieve effective bonding between membrane and concrete. Operate carefully during concrete pouring to prevent man‑made damage to membrane waterproof layer.

Transportation & Storage

Products of different specifications shall be stacked separately without mixing during transportation and storage. Avoid sun exposure and rain, keep well ventilated. Storage temperature shall not higher 45℃. Stack height shall not exceed 5 layers for horizontally placed membranes, and single layer for vertically placed membranes. Prevent tilting and side pressure during transportation; cover with tarpaulin if necessary. Under normal transportation and storage conditions, the shelf life is at least 1 year from production date.
