JX183 TPR Rubber‑Based Pre‑Applied Waterproofing Membrane is a modified waterproof sheet formulated with styrene‑butadiene rubber, compounded with resin fillers and functional additives via advanced copolymerization technology. Scope of Application

Construction Method

Horizontal Laying

‑Lay the first membrane loosely according to layout lines, smooth polymer side towards substrate, granular side facing workers. Align position precisely. Overlap width for long‑side joint is 80mm. Peel off release membrane before overlapping, ensure joint surface clean, dry and dust‑free. Roll overlap firmly. Repeat until full area is covered. ‑Short‑side overlap width is 80mm. Seal joints with dedicated adhesive or sealing tape. Stagger short‑side joints by minimum 500mm to avoid concentrated ridges.

Vertical Laying

‑Align membrane against vertical substrate; smooth polymer side faces retaining wall, granular side faces cast‑in‑place concrete. Mechanically fasten sheets onto supporting wall, rivets shall be 10mm away from self‑adhesive edge. Space fasteners approx. every 500mm along long side. Peel release film, overlap and roll in short moment for tight sealing.All fasteners shall be fully covered by overlapping sheet. ‑Fasten short‑side joints every approx. 500mm, rivets 10 mm from edge. Seal short‑side joints with special adhesive / tape; ensure all fasteners are fully covered by next‑sheet overlap.

Transportation & Storage

Store in well‑ventilated shelter away from sunlight & rain. Storage temperature ≤45℃. Store different types & specifications separately. Maximum 5 layers for flat stacking; vertical storage should be single roll only. Prevent tilting & crushing during transport; cover with tarpaulin if needed. Shelf‑life is at least 1 year under proper storage conditions.
