Construction Method

Self‑adhesive Construction Procedure

1. Substrate cleaning: Thoroughly clean substrate, which shall be flat, clean and dry.

2. Apply primer: Brush or spray primer evenly over prepared substrate surface, no omission or bare substrate allowed.

3. Install additional waterproof layer: Before laying main membrane, install additional waterproof layer of identical self‑adhesive material at detail joints per specification and design requirements.

4. Snap layout lines: On cleaned and dried substrate, snap reference lines according to membrane width and lap‑joint dimension for laying positioning.

5. Large‑area laying: Peel off the release film on the membrane bottom. Lay the membrane onto the dry substrate. With multi‑worker cooperation, roll the membrane surface to expel trapped air and ensure tight bonding to the substrate. Lap adjacent membranes with an 80 mm lap width on both long and short edges.

6. Remove release film at lap position of lower‑side membrane. Clean lap edges and complete lapping. Apply sealant if needed for full tight lap bonding.

Transportation & Storage

Store products of different specifications separately without mixing. Keep away from sunlight, rain and fire sources with good ventilation. Storage temperature shall not exceed 45℃. Stack flat, pile up no more than ≤5 layers; store vertically as single‑layer only. Prevent tilting or side squeezing during transport; cover with tarpaulin when necessary. Under normal transport and storage conditions, minimum shelf‑life is 1 year from production date.
