JX311 Special Waterproof Coating For Metal Roof is a high-elastic polymer waterproof coating formulated with pure acrylic and high-quality fillers for exposed application. It features excellent elasticity, flexibility, water resistance, UV resistance and anti-aging performance. After curing and crosslinking, it forms a solid seamless film, firmly bonded to various substrate surfaces. Product Features

Construction Requirements

• Ensure the metal roof is firm, clean, free of rust and ice;

• Replace or reinforce loose and rusted of roof components;

• For rusty substrates, apply water-based metal anti-corrosion primer which requires no manual rust removal in advance;

• Remove oil stain, free water and ice on the substrate thoroughly.

Construction Method

• First, apply one coat of this special coating on the horizontal overlaps of roof panels and the roof protrusions (cable anchors, air vents, fan openings, etc.). While the coating is still wet, embed properly cut non-woven fabric into it to avoid blisters, wrinkles, or whitening. Brush enough coating on the surface until fully dry. After full curing, apply another 2 to 3 coats.

• For large-area application with a roller or brush, apply sequentially: base coat → middle coat → top coat. If non-woven fabric reinforcement is required, follow the base-coat procedure. The interval between coats is based on the surface being dry and non-tacky from the previous coat.

Notes

• Stir thoroughly before use, finish opened product as soon as possible. If coating is too thick, add proper amount of water and stir evenly.

• The base coat is relatively thin;

• Material consumption: approx.1.8kg/㎡ for 1.0mm film thickness;

• At ambient temperature of 20℃, surface drying time is 4h, hard drying time is 8h;

• Construction temperature: 5℃-35℃. Stop construction if rainfall is expected within 24 hours;

• In case of splashing into eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical treatment if necessary.

Transportation & Storage

• Protect from rain, sun exposure and freezing during transportation. Avoid squeezing and collision, keep the package intact.

• Store in dry and ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Storage temperature ≥5℃.
