The branch meeting discussed and voted on the decision to admit outstanding active member Li Xingcheng as a probationary party member, andsummarized the work conducted in the first half of the yearand reviewed plans for the second half of the year.

On July 1, the Committee of the Chongqing Jinxing Waterproof Technology Co., Ltd., CPC Branchlaunchedthe 'Carry Forward the Red Legacy, March Forward on the New Journey' theme party day activity, with the branchsecretary Guo Jing joining all party members in visiting the cemetery of martyr Yang An Gong to commemorate revolutionary heroes.

Participants arrived at the wall displaying Yang An Gong’s life story, carefully viewing his biography. They learned that Yang An Gong was a pioneer of the Chinese communist movement, one of the main founders of the Sichuan party and youth league organizations, and a leading figure in the Great Revolution and leader of the Chongqing revolution. At age 14, he began fighting against Yuan Shikai and engaging in anti-imperialist and anti-feudal activities. He joined the Communist Party of China in spring 1925 and was the fourth brother and revolutionary mentor of Yang Shangkun. Firm in his communist beliefs, after being arrested in the 'March 3rd Tragedy,' he remained steadfast despite enemy temptations and torture, uttering the heroic words: 'My head may be severed, but my will cannot be broken!' Fearing his courage, warlords inflicted brutal punishments—cutting off his tongue, amputating his hands, and gouging out his eyes—before he was martyred at Ftu Pass in Chongqing.

Committed to living his life motto—'Life is like horseshoe iron; it wears down only when worn out'—Yang An Gong composed a magnificent, awe-inspiring song of righteousness with his vibrant youth at just 29 years old, deeply moving every participant present.

This theme party day activity provided a profound education in party spirit, allowing party members to feel the power of faith and directly and vividly experience revolutionary tradition. Through site visits and study, party members received an engaging lesson in revolutionary heritage. All were deeply inspired and enlightened, realizing how precious and comfortable our current peaceful life truly is.
