5th China Western International Investment and Trade Fair Opens, Jinling Waterproof Group Represents High-Tech Zone Enterprises

May 18–21, the 5th China Western International Investment and Trade Fair (shortened as 'West Expo') was held at Chongqing International Exhibition Center and Chongqing Overseas Chinese Town Convention Center, with Jinling Waterproof Group participating.

The West Expo is a national-level international event jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Water Resources, State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, China Chamber of International Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Chongqing Municipal People's Government. It serves as a major platform for expanding openness in western China, promoting international cooperation, and advancing investment and trade development.

This year’s fair featured two main exhibition zones: 'Investment & Trade' and 'Industrial Advancement,' totaling 13 exhibition halls with a total area of 180,000 square meters. Over 900 enterprises from more than 40 countries or regions worldwide, as well as 29 provinces (regions, municipalities) and two special administrative districts within China, participated. Foreign exhibitors accounted for over 50% of the total. The event focuses on urban strategic development and highlights key areas such as Chongqing's Two Rivers New Area, aiming to facilitate global trade dialogue, investment attraction, regional open cooperation, and new opportunities for collaboration, supporting high-quality development in western China and its enterprises.

The 5th West Expo centers on the theme 'Digital-Driven Open Innovation for High-Quality Development.' On one hand, it responds to China’s shift toward high-quality growth, showcasing digitalization’s role in enhancing internal circulation and business ecosystems. On the other, it emphasizes the promotion of connectivity through the Western Silk Road Economic Belt, strengthening western China’s integration with the global economy.
