Zhang Anjie's Field Inspection and Research Visit to Jinling Water Defense Production Base in Longnan District, Chongqing

On the morning of July 3, 2022, Zhang Anjie, Secretary of the Longnan District Committee of Chongqing, along with Ye Zuoju, Deputy Mayor of the Longnan District People's Government, led a team from the District Committee Office, the District Economic Information Commission, and the Longnan High-Tech Zone Management Committee on a field inspection and research visit to the Jinling Water Defense production base in Longnan District. The company’s general manager and relevant responsible persons accompanied the visit.

The inspection team carefully examined the factory area construction and production line layout, addressed challenges and issues faced by enterprises in development, and provided targeted solutions. The leaders walked and observed while engaging in in-depth discussions with enterprise representatives, gaining detailed insights into production scale, core products, market sales, and R&D capabilities.

Secretary Zhang Anjie emphasized during the visit that departments and units such as the District Economic Information Commission and the Longnan High-Tech Zone Management Committee must effectively implement various supportive policies for enterprises and strengthen support.Implement precise 'one enterprise, one policy' services, reinforce the protection of key production factors, and provide targeted assistance to help enterprises overcome difficulties such as tight capital, unsmooth industrial supply chains, and further optimize the business environment and improve service efficiency.

The general manager of Jinling Water Defense Industry, Ye Dajie, introduced: The newly built Chongqing Longnan production base covers an area of 120 mu.It features three large-scale production workshops, multiple domestic advanced automated production lines, an annual production capacity of 20 million square meters for high-molecular sheet materials, 60 million square meters for various waterproof membranes, and 30 million tons annually for water-resistant insulation and high-strength bridge sealing materials.

Focus on developing a strong real economy

The inspection team stressed the need to truly implement the city-wide spirit of promoting high-quality manufacturing development, adhere to prioritizing industry as the main body of the real economy, accelerate key project construction, and stabilize the industrial foundation. As a 30-year-old water defense enterprise, Jinling has made significant contributions to the real economy sector.Its achievements have been widely recognized.

Zhang Anjie stated: This year, Longnan District is intensifying efforts in equipment manufacturing, chemical new materials, specialty consumer goods, green building materials, and energy-saving environmental protection—five major advantageous industries—with major projects driving large-scale clusters.
